The Display Zone DCP162G is a 16×2 display that transforms data into vivid, easy-to-read character graphics. This transflective LCD screen produces high-contrast characters and shows dark pixels against a bright amber background, ensuring excellent readability under any lighting condition. This LCD can be used with ambient, natural light or with the added green LED backlight, providing clear visibility in different indoor and outdoor environments. The STN (+) Positive green feature enriches the viewing experience.
We’ve added an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) capacitor to ensure durability and reliable performance to the IC input, safeguarding your display against static electricity. A built-in R6 = 20-ohm resistor is also included, regulating the current and enhancing the product’s longevity. Additionally, the backlight pins are reversed, giving you more flexibility in terms of wiring.
This RoHS-compliant LCD is optimized for a 6:00 viewing direction, offering users an ideal perspective. Operating with a power supply of 5V, this display is the perfect choice for various projects and industries. It is compatible with Arduino and other development boards.
